The University of Nevada, Reno Performing Arts Series welcomes Kala’e + Kalena, a Hawaiian music duo celebrated for their soulful vocals, heartfelt songwriting and deep connection to island traditions. Blending Hawaiian, folk and contemporary influences, Kala‘e Parish and Kalena Kukona create intimate performances that honor family, heritage and shared artistic identity. Through rich harmonies and emotionally resonant storytelling, the duo offers a musical experience that is both soothing and uplifting, inviting audiences into the spirit and beauty of Hawaiian culture.
