Performing Arts Series and Apex Concerts Present – Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center

The Performing Arts Series and Apex Concerts present the complete Brandenburg Concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by the nation’s leading chamber music organization, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Widely regarded as the greatest examples of Baroque instrumental music, these six masterpieces unfailingly provide spiritual fulfillment for music lovers of all backgrounds and inspire strength at year’s end and a vision for the brightest future. Twenty musicians from the multi-generational international roster of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, including the University’s own cellist Dmitri Atapine, will bring Nightingale Concert Hall to life during this extraordinary performance.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center brings the experience of great chamber music to more people than any other organization of its kind. Under the artistic leadership of David Finckel and Wu Han, it presents a wide variety of concert series and educational events to and for listeners of all ages, which appeal to both connoisseurs and newcomers.
