About this event
Part of the Early Childhood Workforce Development program, this training explores how Early childhood educators hold ethical responsibilities to children, families, colleagues, and the broader community and how early relationships shape a child’s brain and stress response. This introductory course introduces the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct as a foundational guide for applying principled decision-making in daily practice. Participants will explore how the Code promotes a shared framework for professionalism, integrity, and ethical commitment within early learning environments.
The Early Childhood Workforce Training is offered to early childhood providers for the purpose of meeting the annual Nevada State Early Childhood training requirements. Employees must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training annually to continue employment in a licensed childcare center or home care.
This training is just one of a variety of research-based training topics that are presented by the Workforce development team. All training courses are approved by the Nevada Registry.
