About this event

The purpose of this series will be to provide expert consultation around medication treatment of psychosis and other co-occurring psychiatric disorders including substance abuse. Topics of discussion will include: evidence-based algorithms for choosing appropriate psychiatric medications for specific symptoms and disorders; management of side effects particularly metabolic syndrome; measurement of efficacy, and strategies to improve patient adherence. The "Hub" expert team will represent the disciplines of adult, child and adolescent psychiatry and primary care/endocrinology.
