Racism and Anti-Racism in Reno
Join the Department of Political Science on the second Tuesday of every month this semester for the Political Science Fall 2020 Webinar Series.
Through a focus on the Reno area, "Racism and Anti-Racism in Reno" will discuss what forms racism takes in Reno, what local organizers and leaders are doing to confront it and initiatives at the University of Nevada, Reno aimed at building diversity and inclusion on-campus and in the city.
The panel will include the following panelists:
- Eloisa Gordon-Mora: Diversity and Inclusion Officer
- Lily Baron: Black Lives Matter organizer in Reno
- Samantha Kutner: Fellow at the Khalifa Ihler Institute
- Carla Trounson, Washoe County Library System
- Callum Ingram, Moderator, Assistant Professor of Political Science
