Across the University of Nevada, Reno campus, faculty and student researchers are investigating the myriad causes of and solutions to substance use and related health issues that afflict millions of Americans. Because of the complex nature of these issues, researchers from disparate disciplines use different tools to approach the same questions from different angles. Research Conversations – Substance use series of collaborative meetings will provide a much-needed forum for faculty and student researchers from across campus, from different departments and disciplines, to join in conversations that investigate the challenges and solutions to substance use research and policy issues.
