Learn the full process of creating your own custom rug using a tufting gun! In this hands-on class, you’ll design, tuft, and glue a rug up to 2x2 feet in size. We’ll guide you through threading and using the tufting gun, controlling your lines, and applying adhesive for a clean finish. You’ll also get to practice shaving techniques on a sample rug before finishing your own piece later. Designs should be simple (up to four colors) and pre-approved by staff before class. No prior experience is required—just bring your creativity and be ready to get tufting!

This four hour slot will cover the entire process of transferring your design, tufting, gluing, and practicing trimming. Attendees will need to come back after 24-48 hours when the glue has dried to trim their rug and attach the final backing fabric.
