Safekey Robotics | Helen Herr
About this event
Students K-5 will be engaged in engineering design principles, robotics, and computer programming by creating and programming their own robots. The course starts with introducing participants to machine foundations such as friction, leverage, and elastic power and building upon these concepts with electrical foundations such as motors, sensors, and ports. Each class explores an engineering and robotics concept while engaging the students in building their own robot that they get to program and run.
This program is closed to the public, however, if you are interested in bringing a program like this one to your site, feel free to email the 4-H team at cc4-h@unr.edu.
