This class is recommended for all UNR faculty and staff who prepare or work with grant proposal budgets. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of grant proposal budgeting which inlcude the following:

• Purpose of a budget         
• Legitimacy of costs
• Allowable costs
• Unallowable costs
• Budget restrictions
• Cost share/match
• Budget justification
• Helpful resources
