Join us on April 22, 2026 from 5:30-6:30pm for the Spring 2026 Visiting Artists+Scholars Lecture Series in the Department of Art, Art History & Design with Janina Myronova. Lecture location TBA.
Janina Myronova earned her MFA from the Department of Ceramic Art at Lviv National Academy of Fine Arts (Ukraine, 2012), a second MFA from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts and Design (Poland, 2013), and her PhD from the same institution in 2019. She has completed numerous prestigious international residencies, including the New Taipei Yingge Ceramics Museum (Taiwan), Clayarch Gimhae Museum (South Korea), Lefebvre and Fils (France), the Polish Sculpture Centre (Poland), the International Ceramic Research Center (Denmark), the International Ceramic Studio (Hungary), and the Archie Bray Foundation in Montana—the most competitive and renowned ceramic residency in the United States. Her work is represented in major public collections worldwide, including the Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento), the Porcelain Museum (Latvia), the Mark Rothko Art Center (Latvia), Museu Ceràmica (Spain), the National Museums in Wroclaw and Krakow (Poland), and the New Taipei Yingge Ceramics Museum (Taiwan).
