Special Collections and University Archives, part of the University Libraries, has a new exhibit on display on the third floor of the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center.

Reno Little Theater (RLT), founded by 12 University of Nevada, Reno alumni and faculty members in 1935, celebrates its 90th birthday on October 18, 2025. Its role within the northern Nevada community in its first 90 years began by supporting creative outlets during the Great Depression and providing entertaining activities for residents and those taking the "Reno Cure." One of the oldest "Little Theaters" still functioning today, RLT remains a vibrant local institution with strong ties to the University. Special Collections and University Archives is home to Reno Little Theater's archives. Come experience the exhibit and explore their first 90 years!
