Tahoe Defensible Space for Landscape Professionals

About this event
This one-day program focuses on building understanding of the role that defensible space plays in mitigating the wildfire risk to communities. It will also equip participants with the knowledge of how to create and maintain effective defensible space in Tahoe communities. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts in a classroom setting and then put theory into practice via a field site visit to apply the concepts and knowledge learned earlier in the day.
- Who is this for? City and county officials, HOA leaders, landscape architects, arborists, or defensible space professionals.
