Join us on Thursday, September 12, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm to listen to a panel of experts discuss questions on "On Reproductive Justice, Gender Affirming Care and Moral Panic." The issues of reproductive and gender-affirming care have been issues that have shaped our electoral practices. This Thought on Tap episode will explore reproductive health and gender-affirming care and why they have shaped healthcare and legislation. We will also discuss the impact of these two issues on our current electoral cycle. The discussion will be facilitated by Lydia Huerta Moreno and feature Karen Thiele, MD and Assistant Professor at UNR Med School, Jay Caferatta, MA (Board of Directors of NV Gender Clinic), Tanya Nawrocki (MA student in English and Gender, Race and Identity and reproductive justice advocate for the National Council of Jewish Women, and Callum Ingram, PhD in Political Science. 

Thought on Tap is a public engagement series that brings together diverse panelists from the University of Nevada, Reno, and the larger Nevada community for important conversations around timely topics.
