University of Nevada, Reno Symphony Orchestra Pre-Concert Talk & DMA Lecture

A pre-concert talk for the UNR Symphony Orchestra concert. The concert will be held on October 5, 2023 at 7:30pm, and this talk will be held the afternoon before the concert.

The Pre-Concert Talk offers a brief discussion and insight to the music that will be performed on the program, music of Berlioz, Schubert, Respighi, and Elgar, and will include some demonstrations. 

This talk will be led by DMA Orchestral Conducting student JoAnna Cochenet as a part of the lecture-recital for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree, and will feature the Guest Soloist during the lecture, UNR's Professor Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio, on violin.
