(ModeratorDr. Jeremy Doughty is the resident director for USAC’s programs in England. Jeremy has worked in the field of international education since 2005 in roles that range from an English instructor with the Peace Corps in Ukraine to the senior international officer at a Wisconsin college. Jeremy received his Ph.D. in higher education administration from Bowling Green State University.

(ModeratorSimona Lai has been working with USAC since 2009 and is the resident director of the USAC Reggio Emilia program in Italy. She studied abroad in Germany several times before receiving her master’s degree in foreign languages for international communication. Over the last few years, Simona has received an advanced certification in teaching Italian as a foreign language (University of Siena) and a professional development certificate in Women's Leadership and Develompent (Saïd Business School, University of Oxford).

(PanelistDr. Alyssa Nota is CEO and President of USAC. She has worked for USAC for 20 years in roles including Resident Director of the Torino, Italy, program, regional director of the four USAC Italy programs, developer of programs in Europe and Asia, and now CEO/President of the organization. With personal experience working and living in multiple countries, she is an avid proponent of global study and career opportunities.

(PanelistManuel Casanova has over twenty years’ experience in global sales, business strategy, management, and political campaigns. The majority of Manuel's corporate experience is in the travel and tourism industry. He worked at LAN and LATAM Airlines, where he experienced the merger process. In 2018, Manuel joined Finnair. Manuel earned an M.A. in Election & Campaign Management from Fordham University, and his MBA and B.A. in International Relations from Florida International University. Manuel is an avid reader and traveler who loves to cook and plays soccer and tennis.

(PanelistChristine Healey has a passion for languages and communication, which she channels as a global executive and coach. Since 2008, Christine has coached thousands of professionals on five continents, in 20 countries, and in three languages. She loves to help people share their inspiring stories, connect more authentically, and influence. As a partner of a mid-sized training firm for 13 years, Christine was known as a pioneer. She overhauled hiring and onboarding practices, revamped sales incentives, and modernized operations. For six years, she traveled the world recruiting, onboarding, and managing an international team and building a global brand.
