This virtual workshop supports graduate students preparing for the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition by focusing on best practices in visual communication and impactful presentation design. Led by Dr. David Zeh, Emeritus Vice Provost of Graduate Education & Dean of the Graduate School, participants will learn how to create clear, engaging slides and use visual storytelling to communicate research effectively. These skills are valuable for 3MT, graphical abstracts, and a wide range of academic and professional settings. The workshop will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2026, from 12–1 p.m. PT.
This workshop is collaboratively hosted by the University of Nevada, Reno Graduate Student Association, Graduate School, and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs.
