About this event

This interactive workshop on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will cover the agency's mission, funding priorities, the types of projects funded by NIH, proposal review processes, and a step-by-step discussion of how to write a proposal to NIH. Our team will share lessons learned from working with faculty across campus to develop NIH proposals. Successful NIH investigator Dr. Jenni Pearson (School of Public Health) will conduct a Q&A session with participants.

This Zoom workshop will be recorded. Participants will complete exercises that will give them the confidence to identify relevant NIH funding opportunities and draft Specific Aims pages for feedback.
