DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop on the National Institutes of Health 
 (NIH) will cover the agency's mission\, funding priorities\, the types of 
 projects funded by NIH\, proposal review processes\, and a step-by-step di
 scussion of how to write a proposal to NIH. Our team will share lessons le
 arned from working with faculty across campus to develop NIH proposals. Su
 ccessful NIH investigator Dr. Jenni Pearson (School of Public Health) will
  conduct a Q&A session with participants.\n\nThis Zoom workshop will be re
 corded. Participants will complete exercises that will give them the confi
 dence to identify relevant NIH funding opportunities and draft Specific Ai
 ms pages for feedback.
