Writing from the Margins: Poetry and Puerto Rico
Can liberation be found in writing? Join Nevada Humanities, the Gender, Race and Identity Department and the English Department at the University of Nevada, Reno, as we welcome poets Denice Frohman and Raquel Salas Rivera for an afternoon of readings, discussion, and Q+A. Join us as these poets share their deeply intimate experiences with writing, as they highlight themes of colonialism, the body and gender identity, translation, and the relationship between literature and liberation.
