You Are Not Alone: Connecting Your Students' Writing: CCID Workshop 5

One of the continuing challenges of engaging students in their academic writing is it too often seems disconnected from . . . well, most other things they think are important. This can be a challenge for us as instructors as well. This final CCID workshop of the semester will focus on helping students to connect their writing with other priorities and our connecting it with ours. The workshop will focus on creating opportunities for student to articulate goals and objectives of their own in relation to course work. It will also work on helping faculty to develop assignments and courses in relation to curricula, program assessment and the Core. Bring your lunch, meet and talk with colleagues and get your assignments ready for the semester. Please reserve your spot by emailing and bring your assignments to work on.
